Glowra is operated by Ijeoma Nsaka ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your photos for advertising, and we do not use them to train AI models.
To provide its features, the App shares specific data with third-party AI providers acting solely as our processors:
These providers process your data only to return your result. They may not use it for their own purposes, for advertising, or to train their models, and are contractually required to protect it. We never share your name, email address, or account identifiers with them. Before the App sends your photo or your questions to these services, it shows an in-app explanation of what is sent and to whom and asks for your permission. You can decline — skin analysis and the beauty assistant then remain unavailable — and you can withdraw consent at any time in the App under Profile → AI data sharing.
What face data we collect: the facial photos you capture or upload for skin analysis, and the AI-generated cosmetic appearance estimates derived from them (numeric "glow"/skin-appearance scores such as clarity, hydration, and elasticity estimates). We do not create or store facial-recognition templates or faceprints, and the App does not identify who you are, estimate your age, or judge your appearance.
How it is used: a facial photo is used solely to generate your cosmetic skin-appearance estimates. These estimates are for informational purposes only and are not a medical measurement, diagnosis, or treatment.
Who it is shared with: to generate your analysis, your facial photo is securely transmitted to our AI analysis providers, Perfect Corp and Face++ (Megvii), acting solely as our processors. They may process the photo only to return your analysis and may not use it for their own purposes. Face data is not shared with any other third party, is never sold, is not used for advertising, and is not used to train AI models.
Where it is stored: facial photos and their derived scores are stored in secured Supabase storage and database, protected by row-level security so only your account can access them. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
How long it is retained: facial photos and derived scores are retained so you can track changes over time, until you delete them or delete your account. When you request deletion, the data is removed from our systems within 30 days.
How to delete it: in the App under Profile → Privacy & Data, you can delete your photos, or delete your account and all associated data. You may also email us to request deletion.
Your data is stored with Supabase (our database and storage provider) with row-level security so only your account can access your records. Photos are stored in secured storage used only for generating your analysis.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
